Background

Spooky Scents is a relatively new small candle shop and was in need of a brand identity, including a mascot logo as well as a wordmark.

Challenge

Create an overall brand identity that conveys a fun lighthearted horror theme that can be used on the printed labels of the candles and signs for conventions / shops, as well as a strong digital / social media presence.

solution

A larger logo with a full bat is to be used as a sticker and main identity and a smaller more minimalistic logo is to be used on the labels, to maintain a clean aesthetic.

Follow-up

Upon the successful revamp, Spooky Scents requested a custom label for a “Silence of the Lambs“ themed candle, with a strawberry champagne scent.
